1: What is WikiVIz?
-- WikiViz is a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) front-end visualization
for wikis. WikiViz allows users to create formatted text in a GUI text editor,
and users see the format of their text as it is typed.. When the editing is
complete and the file saved, WikiViz outputs wiki syntax to a file, which can
be uploaded directly to any wiki server, and it should display as expected.
Some of the supported formats are bold, italic, underline, bullets, hyperlinks
and headers. It also supports basic options like saving an edited file and
loading an existing wiki file.
2: How do I use bullets in WikiViz?
-- Bullets work almost the same way as they work in Microsoft word.
1: Click where you want the bulleted list to start.
2: Then, click on the bullet icon from the menu or type CTRL+L, and start typing
your text.
3: When you press ENTER, another bullet appears on the next line. Bullets can be
indent by using
TAB and unindented by SHIFT+TAB.
3: How do I use bold in WikiViz?
-- In order to make text bold, you can click on the bold icon on the menu bar or
by pressing CTRL+B.
In the same way, text can be unbold by pressing CTRL+B or by clicking on bold
button again.
4: How do I use italics in WikiViz?
-- In order to make text Italic, you can click on the Italic icon on the menu
bar or by pressing CTRL+I.
In the same way, text can be unitalicized by pressing CTRL+I or by clicking on
Italic button again.
5: How do I use underline in WikiViz?
-- In order to make text underlined, you can click on the underline icon on the
menu bar or by pressing CTRL+U.
In the same way, we can remove underlining by pressing CTRL+U or by clicking on
underline button again.
6: How do I open a file in WikiViz?
-- On the menu bar, click Open. Then, click on the drive that contains the
document you want to open in the
WikiViz editor. Locate the document, click it, and then click Open.
7: How do I save the document using WikiVix editor?
-- On the menu bar, click Save button to save the file with a new name in the
file name box.
After that click on the drive where you want to save the file and then save it.
8: What is the header button?
-- One can choose a different font size by clicking on the Header button.
A window will pop which will give you different font sizes from which to choose.
Please note that headers will override all other text formats.
9: Hyperlink button?
-- By clicking hyperlink button window will pop up and in that window you can
type in your desired URL.
10: Other Information:
-- You can undo your action by clicking Undo button.
